David
Senior Sports Therapist Graduate
Graduating from the University of Hertfordshire many moons ago, I have continually pushed myself and aimed to work at places that provide exceptional patient care and yield amazing results, hence my arrival here at The Health Lodge! Balancing my time between being here and working as a consultant at Watford Football Club, doesn’t leave a lot of spare time but when I do have a free couple of hours I like to fill them with watching sport! Whether this be the NFL (go Pats!!) or the Royal Ballet (not so much a cheering sport).
Sport is the reason I became a Sports Therapist. Previously a keen runner and hurdler, a series of horrific and unfortunate injuries ultimately lead to me giving this all up but I’ll never forget the feeling of wishing there was some way to make the healing process quicker and more effective. This started me on my path to becoming a therapist and I guess is what they call “making lemonade out of lemons”. Best lemonade ever!
Tomasz
Masters Graduate - Physiotherapy, Qualified Physiotherapist
I finished a Master’s degree in Poland in Physiotherapy, so I’m interested in everything related to the human body and especially activity, health and nutrition.
In my spare time, I like going to the gym, swimming pool, or reading a good book!
The Health Lodge is a place where my qualifications can be useful, I am currently HCPC registered and I am enjoying my time as a doctor’s assistant and as a rehabilitation therapist in the practice, as well as a physiotherapist. This job gives me a lot of pleasure and is a good fit for what I’ve been interested in throughout my study
I am caring, empathetic and understanding and I am able to appreciate your needs.
