Senior Sports Therapist GraduateGraduating from the University of Hertfordshire many moons ago, I have continually pushed myself and aimed to work at places that provide exceptional patient care and yield amazing results, hence my arrival here at The Health Lodge! Balancing my time between being here and working as a consultant at Watford Football Club, doesn’t leave a lot of spare time but when I do have a free couple of hours I like to fill them with watching sport! Whether this be the NFL (go Pats!!) or the Royal Ballet (not so much a cheering sport).
Sport is the reason I became a Sports Therapist. Previously a keen runner and hurdler, a series of horrific and unfortunate injuries ultimately lead to me giving this all up but I’ll never forget the feeling of wishing there was some way to make the healing process quicker and more effective. This started me on my path to becoming a therapist and I guess is what they call “making lemonade out of lemons”. Best lemonade ever!
Graduate Sports TherapistI am a sports therapist with over 5 years’ experience. I have a variety of work experience in the football industry with the clubs such as Wycombe Wanderers, Wingate and Finchley and am currently working as a pitch side therapist with Charlton Athletic Football Club academy.
I first become interested in sports therapy after my friend was taken to the hospital with a long-term ankle injury. The way he came back from the injury phase to return to sports phase was inspiring. Since then, my aim was to begin a career in the field of sports therapy which led me to completing a MSc Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Degree at the University of Kent. I have also become a full member with Sports Therapy Association. I am specialised in injury treatment and exercise rehabilitation with a particular interest in knee pathology. I am currently a junior therapist member at the Health Lodge specialising in sports therapy, rehab and deep tissue massage.
Graduate Sports TherapistGrowing up within a medical based family created a desire to help others and a growing passion for sport. It was clear that her pathway for her future should merge these together. Whilst in University, she immediately threw herself into sports injury and physiotherapy clinics and enjoyed working within the sporting environment. Her background has seen her involved in rehabilitating acute and chronic injuries, as well as health and fitness screening. Starting off from a rugby club, Naomi landed herself as a main sports therapist within Aston Villa Football Club and Academy. She then graduated with a First-class BSc Hons Degree within Sports Therapy.
Since finishing University two years ago, Naomi has gained clinical experience by opening her own working environment into the chiropractic world, where she currently supports two chiropractic clinics as a Sports Therapist. This has enabled her to obtain further qualifications such as medical acupuncture, spinal manipulations and an X-Ray operator.
Masters Graduate - Physiotherapy, Qualified PhysiotherapistI finished a Master’s degree in Poland in Physiotherapy, so I’m interested in everything related to the human body and especially activity, health and nutrition.
In my spare time, I like going to the gym, swimming pool, or reading a good book!
The Health Lodge is a place where my qualifications can be useful, I am currently HCPC registered and I am enjoying my time as a doctor’s assistant and as a rehabilitation therapist in the practice, as well as a physiotherapist. This job gives me a lot of pleasure and is a good fit for what I’ve been interested in throughout my study
I am caring, empathetic and understanding and I am able to appreciate your needs.

Sports Science Student, Traction & Massage TherapistAndrew is on course to complete a Sports, Health and Exercise Science Degree at Brunel University, specialising in human performance. In his teen years, he was fascinated with the human anatomy and how the body actually worked, but was dissatisfied with the way in which the traditional medical system handled things. Hence, he sought out an alternative and landed a placement in chiropractic medicine.
With qualifications in personal training, fitness and massage, Andrew offers numerous exercises and treatments for rehabilitation. This, combined with the other treatments, ensures that all bases are covered. At the clinic itself, he specialises in traction; a form of treatment designed to re-align the spine. Where chiropractic adjustments are extremely specific, traction looks at the overall posture and aims to correct it. His time at The Health Lodge has inspired him to pursue a career in corrective chiropractic following Dr Louise’s footsteps.
