Full Time - Osteopath / Chiropractor
Osteopath, Uxbridge.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Osteopath to join “The Health Lodge Practice” Private Healthcare Clinic in Uxbridge. As an Osteopath you will be responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, diagnosis, evaluation, treatment and advice to private patients. You will work alongside with a Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, Sports Therapist and Acupuncturist.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Undertake a comprehensive assessment and formulate a diagnosis of patients who may have complex conditions
- Use well developed clinical reasoning of the patient’s needs and provide clinic treatment.
- Provide massage services for new patients to help build a private clinics list
- To work as an autonomous practitioner taking responsibility for the management of patients on own caseload without direct supervision, and also be able to work as a team leader and oversee Junior caseloads.
- Maintain patient documentation, records and accurate statistical information to reflect care provided and to meet professional standards and clinic policies.
To be considered for this role you will need to have the following;
Essential
- BSc(Hons), BOst, BOstMed or MOst and registration with the General Osteopathic Council
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to manage a caseload
- Ability to work independently.
- Able to perform HVT manipulation to a high quality standard.

Full Time - Receptionist
Receptionist, Uxbridge.

We are an inspiring and dynamic chiropractic, osteopathic and wellness clinic with a passion for helping our patients, their friends and family to lead healthier and happier lives.
To summarise, you’ll need a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn, as you continue to engage, inspire and motivate your team to deliver and delight day in, day out – not forgetting to keep a close eye on the little details and, of course, the bigger financial picture as well.
The role is for 37.5 hours a week over 5 days a week. Some additional hours to cover colleagues sickness and holidays may be required.
It’s a full-time role and will be paid anything between 18k-20k depending on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receive and support patients to access appropriate healthcare services in a professional, courteous, efficient and effective way. Project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
- Handling telephone and face to face requests for appointments and making the appointments on the computerised appointments system.
- Checking in patients when they arrive at the practice.
- Helping new patients register with the practice and managing associated paperwork.
- Taking phone messages and passing calls to other colleagues
- Checking consulting rooms each morning – turning on computers etc
- Checking lights, windows computers etc. at the end of each day
- Straightening/tidying the waiting room at the end of the day
- Keeping leaflets tidy and stocked
- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the partners or the supervisor / practice managers
- Provide the high quality service that the practice aims for and that the practice runs in an efficient and effective way.
Skills / experience
- Must be organised and able to multitask.
- Individual that have strong communications skills and is able to relate to people from all walks of life.
- Be proficient with technology with fast typing skills and ability to learn medical and insurance billing software programs.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision the majority of the time.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, good keyboard skills and comfortable with working with computers.
- Previous working experience within a health environment ideal but not essential as training will be provided.
- Flexibility for covering shifts at short notice.
